There’s something irresistibly comforting about our Cacao Chai – those deep, velvety cacao notes meeting warm, aromatic spices. And while it’s dreamy hot, it also makes a delicious iced latte – creamy, lightly sweet, and with just enough richness to feel like a treat.
Brew it ahead of time, chill it in the fridge, then pour over ice for an easy afternoon pick-me-up. Finished with a sprinkling of grated dark chocolate, it’s equal parts refreshing and luxurious.
Here’s how to make it at home (watch here)…
Ingredients (makes 1)
- 150ml water
- 2 Cacao Chai tea bags
- 200ml milk of your choice (we love it with oat milk!)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Ice
- Dark chocolate (to grate on top)
Directions
- In a medium-large glass jar, brew the tea bags in 150ml boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey, then add the milk.
- Place in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hours, then serve in a glass with ice.
- Grate some of your favourite dark chocolate on top.
Pro tip: before serving, give it a whizz with a milk frother (or in the blender) to make it frothy and extra smooth.
