When warm evenings call for something a little elegant, this Runaway Rose spritz is our go-to. Light, fragrant and effortlessly pretty, it brings together the floral calm of Runaway Rose with a bright splash of Sauvignon Blanc. Sip slowly… you’ve earned it.
Ingredients
- 2 Runaway Rose tea temples
- Bottle of soda water
- 60ml Sauvignon Blanc
- 15ml Simple Sugar Syrup
- Rose petals for garnish (fresh or dried)
Method
- Make a batch of sparkling cold brew Runaway Rose: Add the tea temples to a bottle of fizzy water, then leave it in the fridge to infuse for around three hours.
- In a coupe or martini glass, pour in the Sauvignon Blanc and Simple Sugar Syrup*.
- Top up with sparkling Runaway Rose, then garnish with rose petals.
*If you don’t have simple syrup on hand, you can make your own: just combine equal parts sugar and hot water, stir until the sugar dissolves, then let it cool before using.
