There’s something quietly magical about the meeting of matcha and rose.
This Matcha Rose Iced Latte brings together the gentle florals of our Runaway Rose tea with the rich, grounding depth of premium matcha. Lightly sweetened with honey and poured over ice, it’s refreshing, elegant, and nourishing – the kind of drink that turns an ordinary afternoon into a small ritual.
Ingredients
- 2 Runaway Rose tea bags (or 2 heaped teaspoons of loose leaf)
- 100ml boiling water
- 150ml milk of your choice (we love it with oat milk!)
- 1-2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tsp Premium Latte Grade Matcha (Matcha Matcha)
- 30ml hot water (not boiling–about 80°C)
Method
- In a small jug, infuse the tea bags in 100ml boiling water for 5 minutes (make sure the tea is fully submerged). Remove the tea and stir in the honey, then refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Add the matcha powder to a small bowl, pour in 50ml hot water and whisk.
- Fill a glass with ice, pour in the tea, the milk, and then the matcha.
- Garnish with edible rose petals, if you’re feeling fancy!
