Our Kapow tea brings together kawakawa, lemongrass, cardamom and chilli for a bright, aromatic hit with gentle warmth, while vibrant matcha adds depth, colour and a smooth, balanced lift. Lightly sweetened and finished with citrus, it’s a refreshing, feel-good drink that’s both energising and nourishing.
Ingredients
- 2 Kapow tea temples
- Soda water
- ½ tsp Premium Latte Grade Matcha (Matcha Matcha)
- 30ml hot water (not boiling–about 80°C)
- 1 tsp agave syrup (or runny honey)
- Ice
- Lime wedge to garnish
Method
- Make a batch of sparkling cold brew Kapow: Add the tea temples to a bottle of fizzy water, then leave it in the fridge to infuse for around three hours.
- Add the matcha powder to a small bowl, pour in the hot water and whisk. Then add the agave syrup and whisk again.
- Fill a large tumbler with ice and pour in the cold brew kapow, leaving two centimetres at the top.
- Pour in the matcha, then garnish with a wedge of lime.
